As a part of our NSP1 redevelopment plan, the Housing Authority of the City of Fort Myers (HACFM) is requesting proposals from qualified, licensed contractors/vendors for rehabilitation and completion of construction at Covington Meadows Apartments.

We held a pre-bid conference on October 16, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. to discuss the scope of work. The scope of this project involves but is not limited to the following: Construction completion of 16 unit town-homes and remaining site work for units to be ready for occupancy per plans and specifications at the Covington Meadows Apartments, Covington Meadows Circle Lehigh Acres, Florida 33936. We have formed this web page for interested parties and general contractors that attended this meeting and for all of the interested parties that might bid on this project.

As stated in the pre-bid conference and on the advertisement for invitations to bid, we encourage working with Minority businesses, Disadvantaged businesses, and Women –Owned business. We have made links available to the sign-in sheets of the pre-bid conference, a listing of contractors that are working on the Renaissance Preserve Senior building, a listing of contractors that have contacted the Housing Authority of the City of Fort Myers showing interest in the project, and a listing of contractors that have received a copy of the plans and specifications for the new administration building.
